110423-M-DC338-053 GULF OF ADEN (April 23,2011)- A CH-53 dump several hundred pounds of fuel over Djibouti to prepare for a heave lift back to the USS Boxer(LHD 4). 13th MEU is deployed with Boxer Amphibious Ready Group as the USCENTCOM Theater Reserve Force, and provides support for maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
